I am self-taught for the most part. I took some night classes around Philadelphia including Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Wallingford Community Arts Center, and Delaware Art Museum. I have dabbled in drawing and painting all my life mostly in pencil and watercolor, but lately in oil. The oil paintings here reflect places and people (2 and 4 legged!) in and around the east coast of the US, and some further afield. I was born in Pakistan and grew up living in Libya, Malta, England and Scotland. Home for the last 40 plus years has been the Philadelphia and Delaware area. Some of these paintings are exhibited at the Station Gallery in Wilmington Delaware.
